Q: What is the Solar Tackle Trade website?
A: Solar Tackle Trade is an online facility for trade customers only. Using this website you can now create and place your trade orders online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week once you have an account registered.
You can view stock information, details and images of all Solar Tackle products 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Q: How does it work?
A: Simple. If you do not have an account then complete the account registration form that you will see on the main page. Confirmation will be e-mailed to you once your account is activated. Once logged into the website view and shop at your leisure. Create your order by clicking the ‘Add To Basket’ button next to each product that you want to order. Once your order is complete, click the ‘Place Order’ button and follow the online instructions to submit your order to Solar Tackle. That’s it, no online payments are required.
Solar Tackle’s sales department will process your order and then one of two things will happen depending on your account:
1: If your account has credit terms agreed with Solar Tackle then your order will be processed and sent. A VAT invoice will posted out to you.
2: If your account is on a pro-forma basis then the sales department will e-mail your invoice to you and the order will be sent on receipt of full payment.
Q: Can I open an account with Solar Tackle Trade?
A: The Solar Tackle Trade website is a facility exclusively for trade customers. If you are a fishing tackle retailer, with a registered retail premises, or a fishing equipment distributor or wholesaler then yes, you can open an account.
If you do not already have an active trade account with Solar Tackle then you will need to complete a New Account Form. To request a New Account Form please e-mail email@example.com or alternatively a new account form will be sent to you on registering for an online account via this website.
Q: How do I open an account?
A: To open a trade account simply complete the ‘account request’ section on the home screen.
Once submitted, your request will be checked by the Solar Tackle staff and your account will be created. The login details for your new online account will be e-mailed to the e-mail address registered for your account.
Q: Is my discount applied to my online orders?
A: Yes. In fact, there is an extra 2% discount for all orders placed online.
If discount is applicable for your trade account then the same discount will be applied to your online account, plus an extra 2% for placing your order online. Your Basket/Order will display the total value including your account discount.
Q: Why can’t I access the full website?
A: Because Solar Tackle Trade is a trade-only website, the website is blocked to anyone that doesn’t have a trade account with Solar Tackle Limited. To get past the home page, you need to log in with the username and password that were set and e-mailed to you when your online account was created. If you do not have an online account but would like one, please see the above questions on opening an account.
Q: I placed an order online and I haven’t received my goods yet, what do I do?
A: All orders are tracked and if your delivery hasn’t arrived withing 3 working days for UK orders or 7 working days for non-UK order of placing the order then please contact Solar Tackle Limited by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively, you can call the office on 0044 (0)1322277345.
Q: There is a problem with my delivery, what do I do?

Q: Why am I unable to order certain products?
A: Occasionally some of our products may be briefly out of stock due to high demand. When a product is out of stock this will be indicated on the product image and page on the webshop and you will not be able to order that particular product. Please check back periodically as the item will be available to order as soon as it is back in stock or call our head office on 0044 (0)1322 277345 for further details.
Q: Can I use Solar Tackle Trade on my smart phone, iPad and other similar portable devices?
A: Yes. Our trade website is fully mobile compatible. All you have to do is log onto the website from your smart phone, iPad or other mobile device.
Q: I’ve forgotten my password and can’t log into my account, what do I do?
A: Click on ‘My Account’ at the top of the Home page. Click the ‘Forgot Password’ text which can be found underneath the ‘Sign In’ tab. Fill in the e-mail address that you use for logging into your account and follow the instructions.
If this does not work or you have any problems then e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and request a new password. Your acount will be reset with a new password, which will be e-mailed to the e-mail address on your account. You can then reset your password in the ‘My Account’ area once you are logged back in to your account.
Q: Where can I view my online activity?
A: All of your orders are logged in the ‘My Orders’ section. Here you can view all details for any order that you have placed.
Q: I’m struggling to find the product I want
A: Click on the magnifying glass icon in the top right of the homepage. This will open a search tab. Type the name of the product or the product code in to this tab and press enter.
